Just announced Canada’s most beloved musician and Troubadour
— Valdy — is named as one of 35
Canadians to become a Member of the
Order of Canada at a ceremony at Government House in Ottawa later this
year.
The official announcement states Valdy was given the
honour for his achievements as a folk musician and for his support of
charitable causes.
A very justified honour for someone who has been
entertaining us for years.
